What we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote or contact us - through the website form, by phone or by email - we collect what you provide: your name, phone number, email address, your suburb or site address, details of the job, and any photos or documents you attach.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies through Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how the site is used and whether our advertising works - things like pages visited, general location, and the device and browser used. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses), which we use for security, such as limiting repeated form submissions.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare and deliver quotes, carry out and document electrical work (including compliance records such as Certificates of Electrical Safety), keep in touch about your job, and improve the website and our advertising. We do not sell personal information, and we don't send marketing you haven't asked for.
Third-party services we rely on
A few reputable services process data on our behalf, and each stores data on its own systems, which may be located overseas: our website is hosted on Vercel; enquiry form submissions are delivered to our inbox by Resend; site usage and advertising measurement use Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel; and the Design your Solar tool on this site is provided by solaraid.design - details you enter there (such as your address and energy usage) are processed by that tool to build your design and are passed to us when you request a quote from it.
Cookies
The analytics and advertising tags above use cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and manage Google's ad personalisation at any time - the website works fine without them.
Keeping and protecting your information
We keep enquiry and job records for as long as we need them to do the work and to meet our legal, warranty and compliance record-keeping obligations, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we're not required to keep.
